Heating & Cooling Replacement Services in Buckeye
Temperatures are rising around the world, creating extreme weather conditions. Because of this, your heating and cooling systems work overtime to ensure your comfort, which can lead to premature system failure. If you think your HVAC system isn’t working as effectively as before, it may be time to replace it.
Signs You May Need To Replace Your Air Conditioning
Increased Running Time
As your system gets older, you may find that it starts up more often and stays on longer than before to provide you with the correct temperature. It could be that your coils are bad or the blower motor is failing. But, if the system still suffers from this problem after repairs, it’s time to replace it.
Loud Noises
It’s normal for your heater or furnace to make noise when running, but you shouldn’t hear unusual sounds like banging, grinding, or squealing. If you do, call a technician to diagnose the problem.
Increased Repair Frequency
Many of the parts in your HVAC system are replaceable, but all systems wear out eventually. If a major component fails, like the compressor or motor, it’s usually more cost-effective to replace the entire unit than to fix it.
Age
If you keep your heating and cooling system well-maintained, it should last a decade or longer. However, beyond the ten-year mark, you can expect your HVAC system to become more and more costly to repair.
The HVAC technology of today’s systems outclasses systems of ten years ago, so it’s better to invest in a new unit than to throw money at keeping your current one running another season. Replacing your air conditioner or heating system is expensive, but installing a more efficient and reliable unit will save money on energy costs and repair bills.
If you think it’s time to replace your heater or air conditioner, call one of our experts at 623-444-6988 to discuss your options.
Air Conditioning Maintenance Services
Because your heating and cooling system is an expensive home investment, it’s in your best interest to keep it in top condition and run as long as possible. However, many people ignore annual system maintenance to the detriment of the system.
Benefits of Routine AC Maintenance
It Saves You Money
A heating or cooling system loses efficiency as it gets older, sometimes up to 5% a year, which means it consumes more energy to do its job. Greater consumption of energy means higher energy bills for you. Routine maintenance and tune-ups keep your energy bills in line.
It Saves Your Warranty
Every new air conditioner comes with a manufacturer’s warranty to guard against defects. However, most warranties stipulate that you must keep up with annual maintenance for the company to honor it. The last thing you’d want is to have to pay out of pocket for a significant repair or replacement because of a problem that a tune-up would have caught.
It Gives You Peace of Mind
When you turn on your heater or air conditioner, you don’t want to worry about whether it will work. With routine maintenance, you get peace of mind knowing that it will work, and your family will be comfortable regardless of the temperature outside.

Drain Cleaning
Considering how often we use the bathroom and kitchen every day, it’s a miracle that drains don’t clog more often than they do. Food particles, hair, cooking oil, and debris all take their toll, and if you don’t stay on top of the problem with routine drain cleaning, you end up with slow drains and clogs.
Preventative drain cleaning doesn’t just keep clogs at bay; it extends the lifespan of your plumbing system and prevents damage that could lead to costly repairs.
We offer full drain cleaning services to keep your pipes clear and your property safe from damage!
Water Heater Repair and Replacement
Most people don’t think about their water heaters until they jump into an ice-cold shower when it’s supposed to be hot. When your water heater fails, you’re often forced into purchasing one without enough time to weigh your options. So, it’s helpful to know the signs that your water heater is getting long in the tooth so you can plan to replace it before it breaks down.
Signs You Need To Replace Your Water Heater
Strange Noises
Your water heater should run silently. If it suddenly makes knocking, popping, or rumbling noises, it usually means you have sediment buildup in the tank. If left unchecked, sediment buildup can cause irreparable damage.
Rusty Water
Rusty water coming out of the hot water tap could mean your pipes are corroding, or it could be a problem within the water tank. If it’s the tank that’s rusting, replacement is the only option.
Age
Lastly, check how old your water heater is. The average lifespan of a water heater is between 10 and 15 years, so if your system is nearing the last quarter of its life, plan on replacing it soon.
If your water heater isn’t performing as it used to, call one of our technicians for an inspection and ask about your replacement options.
Buckeye Gas Log Fireplace Maintenance & Repair
People buy gas log fireplaces because they’re less work than traditional wood-burning fireplaces; however, that doesn’t mean you can ignore them. If you don’t keep up with a maintenance schedule, it’s easy for your fireplace to fall into disrepair and develop problems.
Signs You Need Gas Log Fireplace Repair
Gas Smell or Hissing Sounds
If you think you have a gas leak by the odor or you hear hissing sounds near the fireplace, you must call a technician as soon as possible to keep your family safe.
Pilot Light Problems
If the pilot light doesn’t turn on, it could be the sensor that detects gas has failed, or you may have a blockage in the gas line. The quickest, safest way to determine the problem is to call a professional for an inspection.
Soot Build Up
Lastly, if you notice excessive soot building up, it could mean that you have a venting issue that must be fixed.
Ensure your fireplace runs efficiently and safely year in and out by calling Grand Canyon Home Services at 623-444-6988 for annual maintenance and cleaning!
